Their counselors are trained para-professionals who enjoy
helping people. All have had the necessary training to deal
with today's personal problems. Some are certified counselors,

SupportLine is a telephone helpline which provides confidential
emotional support to children, young adults and adults on
any issue. Some of the issues which they receive calls on
relate to relationships, family problems, child abuse, eating
disorders, exam stress, self harm, bullying, domestic violence,
sexuality, rape and sexual assault, adult survivors of abuse,
depression, mental health, anger and stress. They also keep
details of other agencies, support groups and counsellors
throughout the UK and can refer callers to sources of help
in their immediate area and specific support groups when required.
